I am the founder of Apapachar Wombyn Services, a dedicated platform aimed at empowering and supporting expecting mothers as a doula. With a focus on traditional birthing tools and techniques from Mexico, I strive to create a nurturing environment for mothers-to-be.
Drawing from my extensive background in medical support spanning thirteen years, I possess a deep understanding of medical protocols and excel in advocating for my clients during both hospital and home births.
Based in San Jose, California, my expertise extends to various areas, including labor and postpartum doula support, childbirth education, traditional birthing techniques such as sobadas, belly binding, and bone closing, as well as postpartum in-home massage, placenta encapsulation, and patient advocacy.
As a mother myself, I cherish the experience of nurturing my own angel baby, Brielle Faith, and I am now a proud postpartum mama to my daughter Atzin-Ta'naan, who may accompany me to some of our appointments. The joy I find in being a mother fuels my passion for assisting families during their transformative journey. My ultimate goal is to provide unwavering support for optimal outcomes for both mothers and babies.
Currently, I am undergoing training as a Student Midwife and working towards becoming licensed in the state of California. As one of the few Indigenous/Chicana midwives serving the San Jose area, I am excited about the opportunity to continue serving my community as a birth worker and future midwife. I take immense pride in training under the guidance of the only two indigenous/Chicana midwives who offer homebirth services in the San Jose/central coast region.

Apapachar comes from the Nahuatl "Apapachoa" meaning "To caress with the soul"
